{"id":2486,"date":"2019-11-29T20:17:30","date_gmt":"2019-11-29T19:17:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pol-pat.pl\/?p=2486"},"modified":"2019-11-29T20:18:30","modified_gmt":"2019-11-29T19:18:30","slug":"the-esp-academy-espa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pol-pat.pl\/index.php\/2019\/11\/29\/the-esp-academy-espa\/","title":{"rendered":"The ESP Academy (ESPA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>poni\u017cej przekazuj\u0119 otrzymane zaproszenie:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table aligncenter\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>The ESP Academy (ESPA):<br>Invitation to Apply\u00a0<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>The European Society of Pathology (ESP) is delighted to announce the Second European Society of Pathology Academy (ESPA), scheduled to take place from&nbsp;<strong>20-23 June 2020<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Waterloo, Belgium<\/strong>.<br><br>The ESP AcademyIs an intensive, interactive four-day workshop designed to support early career pathologistsadvances research excellence and innovation among young pathologists and scientists in the field of human pathologyprovides solutions for building up a research strategy and academic career to become a leader in pathologyidentifies the best original pathology-relevant research submitted by the best pathology researchersrepresents a forum to share experiences with world leading senior researchers in pathology as well as fellow young scientists\/pathologistsengages fellows with mentors and peers to explore scientific concepts, investigate, and solve research problems and provide career advice&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>Admission to the Academy and deadline for application&nbsp;Admission to the Academy is by competitive application based on the candidate\u2019s curriculum vitae, clinical and research experience and significance of the proposed project.<br><br>The deadline for submission of applications is&nbsp;<strong>17 January 2020, 16:00 CET<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>Requirements&nbsp;Be a member of the ESPWork at a Pathology Institute and aim at an academic career in PathologyHave a research doctorate (PhD), a doctoral degree in medicine (MD) or an equivalent scientific qualificationBe under 40 years of age<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Candidates must submit in Word or PDF format to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:admin@esp-pathology.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admin@esp-pathology.org<\/a>&nbsp;the following documents:<\/strong><br><br>Letter of motivationFull curriculum vitae (1-2 pages) with a scanned copy of passport \/ID<strong>Outline of future research project<\/strong>&nbsp;(not more than 4 A4 pages)Publication list (papers published or accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals)Letter of recommendation from the Home InstituteRecommendation letter from the National Society<br>All submitted applications will be evaluated by the Reviewing Committee chaired by the ESP President within 8 weeks after the deadline.<br><br>The awardees will be invited to attend the Academy and present their scientific projects during the four-day workshop.
